Process audit and diagnostics
In many plants this is called Level 2; for me it mainly means readable process behavior, operating audit, work states and event reconstruction on CTL, slitters, tube lines and heat-treatment furnaces.
Experience
I work in contexts where software must remain close to the machine: production, maintenance, technical teams, automation, historical data and diagnostics.

Web interfaces to visualize orders, machine states, activities in progress, anomalies, downtime and updated production data.
Systems to record, close, classify and validate downtime with causes, history, responsibilities and data consultation.
Internal tools to reduce repetitive activities, manual imports/exports, redundant configurations and technical checks that are difficult to maintain.
Software services to acquire data from machines and automation systems, save it to databases and make it available to dashboards, reports or external systems.
Analysis and revamping of existing systems, including reconstruction of application logic, data flows and behavior when documentation is partial or outdated.
Every plant has its own constraints: existing PLCs, historical SCADA, incomplete data, limited downtime and different operational needs. The first step is to understand the context well.
